Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: April 2026
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Nyota's Website and Digital Services. By accessing this website and utilizing our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Nyota if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Services Provided
Nyota provides premium digital invitation platforms for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and other private celebrations. The specific deliverables (e.g., custom domain, RSVP management, event galleries, hosting duration) depend entirely on the package selected during the booking process.
- All content provided by the client (text, photos, schedules) must be submitted within the agreed-upon timeframe to ensure timely delivery of the digital invitation.
- Hosting durations are strictly enforced based on the tier purchased (e.g., 3 months, 6 months, 1 year). Hosting extensions may be purchased separately.
2. Payment & Pricing
All prices are subject to change without prior notice, except for orders that have already been confirmed and paid. Promotional pricing and "Launch Discounts" are valid only for the stated promotional period.
- Payments are securely processed via third-party gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal).
- Depending on the project scope, an upfront payment or full payment may be required before design and development begin.
- Due to the highly customized nature of our digital products, payments are generally non-refundable once design work has commenced, unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing.
3. Client Responsibilities & Content Ownership
You agree that any materials (images, videos, text, and music choices) you provide to Nyota for inclusion in your digital invitation are owned by you or that you have explicit permission to use them. Nyota is not responsible for any copyright infringements resulting from materials provided by the client.
You retain full ownership of all personal data, photos, and event details you upload. We claim no ownership over your personal memories.
4. Intellectual Property
The design, layout, code, animations, graphics, and proprietary software used to build the Nyota platform remain the exclusive intellectual property of Nyota. Clients are purchasing a license to use the final digital product for their event, but may not duplicate, resell, or reverse-engineer the underlying code or design templates.
5. Limitation of Liability
Nyota strives to provide a flawless experience, but we do not guarantee that the website or the digital invitations will be completely error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for:
- Temporary server downtimes or technical issues caused by third-party hosting providers.
- Issues resulting from a guest's outdated device, browser incompatibility, or poor internet connection.
- Errors in event details (e.g., wrong venue address, incorrect time) if the information was provided incorrectly by the client.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
We treat your event data as strictly confidential. As outlined in our Privacy Policy, we do not index your private events on search engines unless requested, and we enforce password protections and access controls on applicable premium tiers. We will never sell your guest data or contact information.
